Website Ownership

Tech Turtle owns the website design and implementation unless you separately purchase ownership. When your paid billing period ends after cancellation, hosting and website service end and the website goes offline. A refunded cancellation ends service when the refund is processed. Your logos, photos, written materials and other content you supply always stay yours.

Want to own the website outright? An optional one-time $1,995 buyout transfers the site to you so you can host it anywhere.

Hosting, SSL, and the first year of standard domain registration are included. Standard domain renewal stays included while your subscription is active and in good standing.

Every plan includes one prelaunch revision. After launch, Starter changes are $10 each. Business and Business Pro include one small change every month, on monthly or yearly billing, handled on the 15th of each month. Unused changes do not roll over. Adding up to 15 photos in a month counts as that one change.

Can you build my website if my business is outside Wausau?

Can one website explain both summer and winter services?

Can I show the different Wisconsin communities I actually serve?

Yes. We'll list the towns, counties or regions you really cover, using the service area you give us. We won't add places you don't serve. A service-area list or section is included; a separate page for every city is not part of the standard plans.

Can I keep my existing domain and business email?

Your domain and your email are two separate things. We can connect a domain you already own to your new website, and standard domain registration and renewals are included while you're subscribed. Business email (like you@yourbusiness.com) is hosted by your email provider, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Our plans don't include email hosting, and we keep your existing email records in place when we connect the domain.

Can I request changes without scheduling a phone call?

Yes. Email office@justtechturtleit.com with what you'd like changed. No call is needed. Business and Business Pro include one small change per month; on Starter each change is $10. A $10 instant change is completed within 24–48 hours.

Which plan fits a contractor with several services and project photos?

Usually Business at $29/month. It gives you up to five pages, enough for separate services and a projects page, and adding up to 15 photos in a month counts as your one included change. Choose Business Pro at $50/month if you also want inquiries to land in a CRM dashboard with lead tracking and online appointment requests. Starter at $14.99/month fits a single, simple service.
