The direct answerA missing review may be delayed, removed under policy or affected by a profile change. The appropriate next step depends on what changed and whether the reviewer can still see their contribution. Tech Turtle cannot restore reviews or override Google moderation.

Choose your situation for a focused action plan. This guided tool uses your answers; it does not access your private Google account or perform a live audit.

Start with a review-change timeline

  1. Record when the review was submitted, when it disappeared and whether the profile was recently merged, moved or reinstated.
  2. Check that you are viewing the intended business profile rather than a duplicate or similarly named location.
  3. Ask the reviewer to check their own contribution status if they are comfortable doing so. Do not ask for their login or ask them to repeatedly repost.
  4. Read the official missing-review guidance and use support when the situation fits. Keep factual screenshots and profile identifiers in your own records.

Collect legitimate reviews without creating a new problem

Invite customers with genuine experiences to leave honest feedback. Make the request neutral and accessible; do not offer incentives, ask only people likely to be positive, or require a particular star rating.

A website can show authentic, permissioned testimonials and project examples, but it cannot replace missing Google reviews or prove that a disputed review should be restored. Address legitimate service complaints directly and respectfully.

What to include when asking official support

Provide the correct profile, relevant dates and a concise explanation of the change. Distinguish missing reviews from a request to remove a negative review; they use different questions and processes. Avoid publishing customers’ private details in a public forum.

Can I pay someone to recover missing reviews?

No provider can guarantee restoration or override Google’s policy decisions. Use official support where appropriate. Avoid services selling reviews, incentives or repeated reposting as a recovery method.
