About Tech Turtle

I didn't start out building websites. I started out doing the work.

Before Tech Turtle, I ran a painting business called OCD Painting here in Wisconsin.

I know what it's like trying to find the next customer while you're still working on the job in front of you.

I spent time improving my painting skills, getting better at the details, and taking better pictures of my finished work.

But there was a problem.

I couldn't figure out how to get those new pictures onto my own damn website.

So even though my work was getting better, my website wasn't showing it.

Eventually, I sat down and figured out how to work on the website myself. That experience helped lead me into web design and eventually starting Tech Turtle.

Now I build websites for contractors who are dealing with the same frustrations I had.

You shouldn't have to become a web designer just to run a painting company. That's my job now.

You handle the work. I'll handle the website.

Tech Turtle is based in Wausau, Wisconsin, but our website and digital marketing services are available to contractors throughout the United States. We work remotely, so you don't need to be located near our office.
