What do I get for $50 a month?
A 3–5 page website for your trade, up to 10 service-area pages for towns you genuinely serve, hosting, SSL and maintenance, a lead dashboard, invoicing with PDF downloads, receipt capture, a mileage log, CSV exports and one standard content update each month.
Is there a setup fee or contract?
No. $0 setup fee, no minimum term and no early cancellation penalty. You're billed monthly until you cancel.
How fast is the website live?
We aim to launch within 72 hours after we receive every required item — business details, services, service areas, domain, logo, photos and any access we need. Waiting on any of those pauses the clock.
Do I need my own domain?
You can use one you already own or we can register one for you. Transfers and DNS changes depend on your registrar and can take longer than our build.
What are service-area pages?
Pages for the towns or counties you actually work in — up to 10. We don't create thin copies for places you don't serve.
Do you guarantee rankings or leads?
No. We build the site the right way for local search, but Tech Turtle doesn't guarantee leads, jobs, revenue or search rankings.
How does the lead dashboard work?
Every form submission from your website lands in your dashboard with a status, private notes, full history and follow-up reminders. It works on your phone and can be pinned to your home screen.
Can I send invoices to my customers?
Yes. Create an invoice, download the PDF and send it yourself. You can record full or partial payments and see what's still owed. Online card payments to your customers aren't included.
How do receipts work?
Snap a photo with your phone camera or upload a file. It's stored privately with the vendor, amount, date and category, and only your account can open it.
Does the mileage log track me with GPS?
No. You log trips manually — date, miles, where you went and why. Totals add up by month and year and export to CSV.
Is this accounting or tax advice?
No. The bookkeeping tools organize your records so you can hand clean exports to your tax preparer. Ask them about deductions and filing.
What can I export?
Invoices, payments, expenses (with receipt status) and mileage for any year or quarter as CSV files.
How do monthly content updates work?
One standard update each billing month. Submit it by the 10th and we aim to finish by the 15th (next business day if the 15th is a weekend or federal holiday). Requests after the 10th roll to the next cycle.
Can I suggest new features?
Yes. The dashboard has an ideas box. Every idea is read, but we can't promise it will be built.
Who owns the website?
Tech Turtle builds, hosts and owns the website while you subscribe, and it goes offline if you cancel. You own your business name, logo, photos and content. After launch you can buy the completed website for a one-time $1,500.
What does the $1,500 buyout include?
It transfers your completed website under our written ownership terms. It does not include perpetual access to the dashboard, invoicing, receipts or mileage software. Optional Tech Turtle hosting afterward is $10/month. This price applies only to the Contractor Business System; our other contractor offer has its own buyout terms.
What happens to my records if I cancel?
You keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. Download your invoices, expenses and mileage exports before then.
Are there any other costs?
Applicable sales tax may be added at checkout where required. Third-party costs you choose — premium domains, ad spend or outside software — are separate.
