Where your site lives and how it's protected.
Is hosting included?
Yes. Hosting is included on every subscription plan. There's no separate hosting bill.
Where are your websites hosted?
Our websites run on modern, fast cloud infrastructure with a global content delivery network, so pages load quickly for visitors across the country.
Will my website be fast?
We build lightweight, modern sites and run basic performance optimization, like compressed images and efficient code. Speed also depends on things like the size of the photos you provide.
Do you guarantee uptime?
We use reliable hosting infrastructure, but we don't promise a specific uptime percentage. If your site ever has a problem, email us and we'll look into it.
Is there a traffic limit?
Standard small-business traffic is covered by your plan. If a site ever receives unusually heavy traffic, the owner would reach out before anything changes.
Can I host the website myself?
Subscription websites are hosted by Tech Turtle. If you want to host it yourself, the $1,995 buyout transfers the agreed deliverables so you can move it.
Can I pay you just for hosting?
Hosting at $10/month is available for websites purchased through a buyout and for custom or e-commerce projects we build. We don't offer standalone hosting for websites built elsewhere.
Does my website have SSL (https)?
Yes. Every website includes an SSL certificate, so it loads over a secure https connection and shows the padlock in browsers.
Do you back up my website?
Yes. Websites are built and deployed from version-controlled code, so earlier versions can be restored if something goes wrong. Ask us if you need a specific restore.
What happens if my website gets hacked?
Our sites don't run plugin-heavy platforms that are common hacking targets, which lowers the risk a lot. If you ever see something wrong, email office@justtechturtleit.com and we'll investigate right away.
Do you protect forms from spam?
Yes. Our contact forms use spam protection techniques like hidden honeypot fields and timing checks to block most automated spam.
How is my customers' information protected?
Form submissions are stored in secured databases with access controls, and only you and authorized Tech Turtle staff can see them. We follow the practices described in our privacy policy.
Is my site on WordPress?
No. We build on a modern framework instead of WordPress. That avoids plugin vulnerabilities and keeps sites fast, but it also means WordPress plugins don't apply.
Will I get a login to edit my website?
Starter and Business websites are managed by Tech Turtle, so you don't need a website login. You send change requests and we make them. Business Pro includes a secure login to your CRM dashboard.
