How the free build works, who qualifies, and the terms behind it.
How is the website free?
The design and build are free on eligible subscription plans. Instead of paying thousands up front, you pay a low monthly subscription ($14.99, $29, or $50) that covers hosting, your domain, and support. Tech Turtle owns the website design while you subscribe, and you can buy it outright for $1,995 if you ever want to.
What's the catch with the free website?
There's no hidden catch, but there are a few honest terms. The free build is tied to an active subscription, Tech Turtle owns the design unless you buy it for $1,995, and the website goes offline if you cancel. Your own logos, photos, and content always stay yours.
Is the website build really free?
Yes. There's no build or setup fee on eligible Starter, Business, and Business Pro plans. You pay the monthly subscription, starting with your first month at checkout.
Why would you build a website for free?
We earn our money from the ongoing subscription rather than an up-front build fee. That makes a professional website accessible to small businesses that can't spend thousands at once.
Which websites qualify for the free build?
Standard small-business websites qualify: service businesses, contractors, local shops, professionals, and similar sites within the plan's page limit. E-commerce stores and complex custom development don't qualify and are quoted separately.
Do I have to sign a long contract for the free website?
No. Every subscription plan is month-to-month with no contract. You can cancel anytime, and you're covered by a seven-day money-back guarantee from your original purchase date.
Is the free website offer ending soon?
The free build on our standard subscription plans is an ongoing offer, not a short countdown. If a limited-time extra is running, the details and end date are shown on the page.
Is this the same offer I saw on Facebook?
Yes. The Facebook offer and the homepage offer are the same subscription plans: Starter at $14.99/month, Business at $29/month, and Business Pro at $50/month, each with a free eligible website build.
Do I have to talk to a salesperson first?
No. There are no mandatory sales calls. You can choose a plan, check out securely online, and complete onboarding on your own. If you want to ask a person a question first, email office@justtechturtleit.com or text 715-409-8775.
How do I get started?
Pick a plan on the pricing section, check out securely online, then complete the short onboarding form with your business details, logo, and photos. We start building once we have what we need, and eligible sites can launch in as little as 72 hours.
What happens after I pay?
You'll get a confirmation email and a link to onboarding. Once you submit your business information, services, and any photos or logo, we start the build. We'll show you the site before launch so you can use your included prelaunch revision.
Can a brand-new business get the free website?
Yes. You don't need a long track record. As long as you have a legitimate business and can provide basic information about your services, a new business can sign up.
I already have a website. Can I still get the free build?
Yes. We can build you a new website on one of our plans and help point your domain to it. If your current site has content you want to keep, send it to us during onboarding.
Does an online store qualify for the free website?
No. E-commerce websites don't qualify for the free subscription offer. E-commerce projects start at $2,500 and are quoted individually. If you already have an external store, we may be able to link to or embed it on a standard site.
Can I get free websites for more than one business?
Yes, each business can have its own subscription. Each website is a separate plan with its own monthly price.
Are there businesses you won't build websites for?
We don't build websites for illegal activity or content that violates our acceptable-use policy. If you're unsure whether your business qualifies, ask and the owner will review it.
Can businesses outside the United States sign up?
Tech Turtle serves businesses across the United States. If you're outside the U.S., email office@justtechturtleit.com and the owner will let you know whether we can help.
Can I use a plan for a personal or portfolio site?
Our plans are designed for businesses, but many freelancers, creatives, and solo professionals use them. If your site is purely personal, ask us first so we can confirm it's a good fit.
What if I need more than five pages?
Business and Business Pro include up to five pages. If you need more, the owner can quote extra pages or a custom build. Tell us roughly how many pages you need and what they're for.
