E-commerce and Custom Builds

Online stores and complex projects, quoted individually.

How much does an e-commerce website cost?

E-commerce projects start at $2,500, with 50% due up front and 50% at completion under the written acceptance terms. The final price depends on your scope.

Is an online store included in the free website offer?

No. E-commerce websites don't qualify for the free subscription offer. They're quoted as custom projects starting at $2,500.

I already have an online store. Can you put it on my website?

Often, yes. A website that links to or embeds your existing store can be simpler than building a full e-commerce platform. Share which store platform you use and the owner will confirm scope. Not every third-party storefront can be embedded.

Do I own my e-commerce website?

E-commerce projects include website ownership or buyout as specified in your agreement. Hosting is available at $10/month, and optional maintenance is $499/month.

Can my website accept payments?

Taking payments on your site is an e-commerce feature that's quoted as a custom project. A simple option is linking to a payment or booking page from a provider you already use.

I only sell a few products. Do I need a full e-commerce site?

Maybe not. Linking to an existing store or a simple payment page from a standard website can cost much less. Tell us what you sell and the owner can recommend the simplest option.

How much does a custom website cost?

Complex custom builds start at $5,000, with 50% up front and 50% at completion under the written acceptance terms. Scope and the delivery schedule are defined individually.

When do I need a custom build instead of a plan?

You need a custom build if you want features like logins, complex integrations, custom applications, or more pages and functionality than the standard plans cover. Most local service businesses don't need one.

Can I cancel a custom project?

Custom projects are generally nonrefundable once work begins, subject to applicable law and your signed agreement. You can't cancel a custom project without consequence, so review the agreement before signing.

What if I'm not happy with a finished custom project?

Final payment follows the written acceptance, milestone, and dispute terms in your agreement. Tell us specifically what doesn't meet the agreed scope and we'll work through it.

Is hosting included with a custom build?

Hosting for custom builds is available at $10/month. Optional ongoing maintenance is $499/month.

Can you build custom software or a CRM for my business?

Yes, Tech Turtle builds custom software and CRM systems as separate projects. Describe what you need and the owner will scope and quote it.

How do I get a quote for a custom project?

Tell me about your business and what the website or system needs to do, and I'll pass the details to the owner. You can also email office@justtechturtleit.com.

How do payments work on custom projects?

Custom and e-commerce projects are 50% up front and 50% at completion, following the written acceptance terms in the project agreement.
