Are your websites accessible?
We follow accessibility best practices, like readable contrast, semantic headings, image alt text, keyboard-friendly navigation, and labeled forms. We don't guarantee formal ADA or WCAG compliance certification.
Will my website protect me from an ADA lawsuit?
We can't guarantee that. We build with accessibility best practices, but we don't provide legal compliance certification. Consult an attorney for legal accessibility questions.
Do you add alt text to images?
Yes. Meaningful images get descriptive alt text, which helps screen-reader users and search engines.
What platform do you build websites on?
We build with modern web technology (a React-based framework) and host on fast cloud infrastructure. It's not WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace.
Can you integrate my other software?
The standard plans include a contact form and, on Business Pro, the CRM dashboard. Other third-party integrations aren't promised. Tell us what you use and the owner will review it.
Can you embed videos, maps, or reviews?
Usually, yes. We can embed things like YouTube videos and Google Maps. Third-party embeds depend on what that provider allows.
Can you add a Facebook Pixel or tracking code?
Often, yes, with your consent settings in mind. Send us the code or ID and we'll review it.
Do you add a privacy policy to my website?
We can add a standard privacy page based on how your site collects information. It isn't legal advice, so have an attorney review it if your business has special requirements.
Can I get the source code?
On subscription plans, Tech Turtle owns the code. Through the $1,995 buyout, you receive the agreed website files and handoff materials.
Do I need to change DNS settings myself?
If Tech Turtle registered your domain, no, we handle it. If you own the domain elsewhere, we'll send simple instructions or help you update the records.
Will my website work in all browsers?
Yes. We build for current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox on desktop and mobile.
Can you redirect my old website pages?
Yes. When you switch from an old site, we can set up redirects from important old pages to the new ones to help visitors and search engines.
Will my contact form emails look like they come from my domain?
Form notifications are sent from our system to your inbox. Setting up branded email on your own domain is a separate service you'd arrange with an email provider.
