Design and Revisions

The design process and exactly how revisions and changes work.

Is the design custom or a template?

Each website is designed for your business using your branding, services, and photos, built on our proven layouts. It's not a generic drag-and-drop template, but it's also not a from-scratch custom build.

What will my website look like?

Your site will match your brand colors and logo, use your real photos, and follow a clean, professional layout designed to get calls and inquiries. You can see real examples in our portfolio.

Can I choose the colors and fonts?

Yes. Tell us your brand colors, any fonts you use, and websites you like during onboarding. We'll design around them.

Can I send examples of websites I like?

Yes, please do. Examples help us understand the style you want. We'll use them for inspiration but won't copy another company's website.

Will I see the website before it goes live?

Yes. We share your website before launch so you can review it and use your included prelaunch revision.

Will my website look modern?

Yes. We build with current design standards: clean layouts, readable type, fast loading, and a strong mobile experience.

What if I don't like the design?

Tell us what isn't working. Your included prelaunch revision covers adjustments. If you want a substantially different design, the owner will review it and may quote a redesign. You're also covered by the seven-day money-back guarantee from purchase.

How many revisions do I get before launch?

Every plan includes one prelaunch revision at no extra charge. Use it to adjust wording, photos, colors, or sections before your site goes live.

What if you made a mistake on my website?

If we misunderstood the instructions you originally gave us, or made a factual error, we fix it at no charge. That correction doesn't use up your included revision.

Do I get free changes every month?

Business and Business Pro include one small change per month. Starter doesn't include free monthly changes; each change after launch is $10. Included monthly changes don't roll over.

What counts as a small change?

A small change is adjusting an existing section, updating text in an existing section, or replacing or adding photos (up to 15 photos in a calendar month).

How much is an extra change?

Additional small changes are $10 each on every plan.

Do unused monthly changes roll over?

No. The included monthly change on Business and Business Pro doesn't accumulate or carry into the next month.

What counts as a major redesign?

A major redesign affects three or more website sections or substantially changes the approved design, such as changing the whole typography system, reworking several components, or replacing the layout. A minor font or button fix isn't a major redesign.

How much does a major redesign cost?

Major redesigns are quoted by the owner based on what's changing. Tell us what you want changed and we'll send a quote before any work starts.

How do I request a change?

Email office@justtechturtleit.com with the page, what to change, and any new text or photos. Clear, specific requests help us finish them faster.

How fast are changes made?

Small changes are typically completed within a few business days, depending on workload. We don't guarantee same-day changes.

Can I keep trying completely different designs?

Your prelaunch revision is meant for refinements. If you want several substantially different designs, the owner will review the request and may provide a new quote.

Will my website work on phones?

Yes. Every website is mobile-friendly and designed to look and work well on phones, tablets, and desktops.

Can customers tap to call me from my website?

Yes. Your phone number is a tap-to-call link, so mobile visitors can call you with one tap.

Do you design for mobile first?

Yes. Most local customers find businesses on their phone, so we design the mobile experience first and then expand it for larger screens.

Will I get a mobile app?

No. We build mobile-friendly websites, not app-store apps. A mobile-friendly site works in any phone browser with nothing to install.
